Hi!

I was looking through your documentation how to install Gargoyle.
However I didn't understand, if its possible to flash my router by simply log in to my wrt54gl router, which is running dd-wrt atm.

So, question: Is it possible to install Gargoyle by flashing from the web interface of dd-wrt?

If this is possible, would you be kind to update the installation docs? :D

/Regards, someone who is thankful for openwrt's and gargoyle's hard work and really wants the world to go open source.

Yes, this is possible, but be sure to use the generic broadcom .trx file, and not the .bin files (the bin files are only for installation from stock firmware). This is the file to use when installing on broadcom based hardware currently running either DD-WRT or Tomato.

Update, it worked fine as expected.

The only thing I had to do was rename the generic broadcom .trx file to .bin instead for dd-wrt to accept the file. :D

Did you get this corrected or figure out what to do?

Also, by default, when Gargoyle is loaded, wireless is disabled.
You have to go in and manually configure it / enable it first.

Goto System tab, Backup/Restore, Restore Default Configuration

Restore default configuration just to be safe, then go in and
reconfigure all settings and setup the wireless under Connection.
