Installation quick and easy? question

I was wondering if it's possible to install Gargoyle firmware on Nanostation M2. I see there are already premade builds just for loading.

Basically I wanted to test how it will work. Is it possible to flash garogyle on Nanostation M2 from ubiquiti gui, and just in case revert back to ubiquiti firmware from gaorgoyle gui without tftp procedure. ?

could I get 100% confirmed answer to that ?

Follow that page for flashing info.

Gargoyle is an enhanced GUI for OpenWRT

Eric adds additional fixes/tweaks, but the heat of Gargoyle
is OpenWRT so any flashing/restoring will follow OpenWRT instructions.

TFTP is usually the best way to make sure firmware flashes successfully.

To be exact this is Nanostation M2 not old Nanostation 2 as to what openwrt site refers to.

I think in that case flashing procedure is little bit different ?

You may have to follow this page:

Looks like the main difference between the M2 and M5
is the frequency range?
