Uglify-JS Install

When I build gargoyle it builds fine, but there is a message that says that Uglify-js is not installed and cannot compress js. I tried to install in Fedora and Ubuntu without success. I'll be glad if anyone can point me to any page or how to.
I'm building for AR71xx and I end up with too little space after flash. Just want to verify if that can improve a little at least.
