Hi,
(SMC WBR11-G = Accton MR3202A)
At the first beginning I use FonFlash to flash DD-WRT with success.
Router works.
But it is a trial version.
So I give it up and flash Gargoyle with success.
However until now router didn't work.
My 1st problem is : after setting PPPOE(wired) router won't be online.
(I check router's status by wireless connection.)
2nd problem is : When PC connect LAN, got IP : 169.254.86.193.
When PC connect WAN, got IP : 192.168.1.233.
I have tried 1.4.2 & 1.4.0 and got same result.
Pls help me.
Or should I flash it as a Fon+ ?

Are you sure its identical hardware?
It almost sounds like Gargoyle/OpenWRT swapped the LAN/WAN ports
I wonder if the WAN is now the LAN and vice-versa
If you connect via the WAN port - can you get to the Gargoyle GUI?

Now I'm not 100% sure.
I found it is same as Fonera+.

Yes,I can get to the GUI via the WAN port or wireless.
I also doubt LAN/WAN ports were swapped.
So I setup PPPOE(wired) well and connect LAN port but router didn't get online.
The most strange thing is when I connect LAN to internet and WAN to PC at the same time, I will get a screen asking ID & password for "DSL router".
And no matter what I input always be wrong.
That means I can't get to Gargoyle GUI when at above situation.
But if I only connect PC via the WAN port, I can get to the Gargoyle GUI easily and only input password.
I also found some data for this router :
http://wiki.openwrt.org/doku.php?id=old ... mc:wbr11_g
I hope I can flash my router with Really success.
PS. I don't know why but I can only use Fonflash via the WAN port.
I tried to use Fonflash via the LAN port but never work.
Thank you very much for kind reply.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/La ... FoneraPlus
Check that page out and compare to your device
It looks like the switch may be different on the SMC
That might explain why your LAN/WAN ports aren't working properly
You might have to compile your own code from source to get
the LAN / WAN ports working as they should.
--------------------
ICPlus IP175C: Registered new driver
Infineon ADM6996: Registered new driver
Marvell 88E6060: Registered new driver
I think the Infineon and ICPlus stuff is different from the FON's
Might need additional drivers for the SMC WBR11-G

Today I tried X-wrt OpenWrt for atheros extra & default version 8.09.2
With X-wrt OpenWrt, WAN & LAN ports not swapped.
I was happy but got disappointed soon again.
1st I connect PC via the LAN port and setup PPPOE well.
2nd I connect internet via the WAN port.
Router was running but just can't get online.
In the meanwhile I can't access X-wrt GUI anymore.
I also tried Fon+ dd-wrt and got flash successfully.
But after flashed, LAN & WAN ports become all WAN ports.
So I can't get in GUI.
Until now the most suitable firmware is dd-wrt Accton MR3202A.
But it is a trial version.
