Hey everyone,
I’ve been using Gargoyle as my go-to interface for OpenWrt for a while now, mainly for its straightforward design and excellent bandwidth monitoring tools. However, I’ve recently started exploring ways to customize the UI a bit – whether it’s just for aesthetics or improving usability.
Has anyone here tried modifying the CSS, replacing icons, or doing full theme overhauls for Gargoyle? I know it’s not as widely discussed as LuCI theming, but since Gargoyle is built on top of OpenWrt, I’m assuming there’s room to play around with the front-end.

Are you aware of the themes that are already available?
You can do simple CSS overrides, all the way to fully replacing the base CSS.
If you provide a file in your custom “theme”, it is used. If it is not present the base Gargoyle one is used.
