Using WAN port as switch

Hi,

I've got a WR1043ND set up as a wired ap via stock firmware. I would like to make use of the wan port as now it's currently unused. Can gargoyle achieve this while keeping the whole network on the same subnet?

Current setup

dsl -> esr9850 -> wr-1043nd

Thanks in advance.

under "Connection->Device Configuration", you should choose "Wireless Bridge/Repeater".
under "Connection->Wireless Bridge/Repeater", you should choose "Bridge to LAN" and "Repeater Disabled".

Thank you hnl_dk.

Successfully flashed 1.4.2. Tried your suggestion at first but network was not so stable. In the end I configured the router as a gateway with the wan port disabled and issued

uci del network.@switch_vlan[1]
uci set network.@switch_vlan[0].ports="0 1 2 3 4 5t"

to get the wan port useable as a lan port. Now everything's running fine.

This appears to disable the 5 GHz band; I only get setting for the 2.4 GHz band. Any chance that Gargoyle will support dual-band with this setting?

The repeater will only "repeat" the network it is connected to.
Any other configuration is no longer a repeater.
