By you following my troubleshooting request so I can narrow down the root cause.
Or you can write up an exact set of steps that reproduces the problem every single time, so I can run the same steps on my end.

I did it for the third time today.
I have created 5 users for different libraries.
I then created a sixth share for anonymous (R/W) users for a certain folder.
Everything was fine then.

Then I decided that I didn't need the anonymous user (he had an empty directory) and deleted the share.

Clicking the "Save Settings" button worked a little longer than usual and in the meantime Gargoyle deleted everything from the HDD.

p.s.:
When I tried to remove the anonymous R/W shared directory, after Gargoyle deleted all the files, the anonymous share did not disappear from the "Currently shared disk" list.

I think this might be a Gargoyle system bug...

Sharing and users "map":

Directory tree:
/NVR
/Movies
/Music
/Others/Photos/Daughter

Users:
movie1
movie2
music
NVR
admin
photos

Shares:
Share1: Folder: /NVR; user:NVR, R/W
Share2: Folder: /Movies; user:movies1, R/O; movies2, R/O
Share3: Folder: /Music; user:music, R/O
Share4: Folder: /Others/Photos/Daughter ;user:photos, R/O
Share5: Folder / (root, all folders) ;user:admin, R/W

The sixth share was the problem.
Share6: Folder: /Movies/Incomplete; user (no user, only anonym sharing) R/W.
