very few devices listed in primary router after using tp link 841 as repeater

Post by cn008 »

Hello,
I have a tp link ax6000 as primary/main router, and tp link 841 installed Gargoyle v1.10 as repeater in my garage(setup following the Wireless Bridge/Repeater wiki article), it works and on the first day, I can all all connected devices on my ax6000 UI.

But somehow the second day(cable modem and ax6000 powered off and then on), there is only 3 or 4 devices listed in my ax6000 UI, refresh will sometimes show 7, but not all, even those devices connected to 5G not showing.

When I access the repeater router(tp link 841), under "connected hosts":
- none under "current DHCP leases"
- many under "Connected Wireless Hosts"
- many under "Hosts With Active Connections"

Is this normal? Those devices are all connected to internet, but they just do not show up in ax6000 router.

Thanks.

I had similar problems

Lantis made a "wifi manager" plugin which I think may help?
