It's a version 1 of the 3700 series. The firmware for version 2 starts with 1.0.0.6 (according to the information on the netgear site).

Definitely a V1

I have the same unit. Runs Gargoyle perfectly.

YW. Good to know you got it working. I think you will like the way your router works with the Gargoyle firmware. I know I do with my 3700v2!

What's the throughput like to a drive attached to the USB port of a 3700 flashed with Gargoyle? I know that with the Netgear firmware it's so lw as to be unusable -- hoping shifting to Gargoyle will give me a functional NAS drive.

Best,
Alan

I haven't attached a HDD to either of my WNDR units, but I do have some flash sticks (OLD ONES, haha) attached and one runs my Squid cache. It's holding up fine so far.
