disable bandwidth monitoring permanently

how can I disable the bandwidth monitoring completly ?
I tried:
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle stop
/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle disable
and BW monitoring is off
but after reboot it is running again

Remove the script from /etc/init.d/ or else put those commands in /etc/rc.local
