I was wondering if we can independently control the 2 wireless bands on the router. By this I mean the security and the use. Coming from tomato this was doable however I don't know if I am just missing something or not...here is what I want to do...

2.4Ghz
AP+WDS
ssid
channel 6
WPA AES

5.0Ghz
AP
ssid2
40mhz above
channel 157
WPA2 AES

I have another router that is G only that I want to configure for WDS off the 2.4ghz band leaving the 5ghz band for pure wireless n adapters. If more details are needed please let me know.

Speaking for the 3700v2: The hardware should make this possible, because the (overall very crappy) original firmware has this option. It seems to lack this refinement in the Gargoyle firmware. The security settings appear to combine the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
