Upgrading Fon with FonFlash

I currently have DD-WRT v24 RC-6 (01/02/08) std on my Fon 2100 router. I have been trying to figure out how to set up a wireless bridge for quite some time. Whatever I do I just cant figure it out.
I've tried updating my router to see if that would help. First I tried updating throught the dd-wrt web interface and that didnt work. It always says it updated sucessfully, but there is no change. Ive tried upgrading to a couple different versions already with no luck.

Others suggested using FonFlash instead. Im not having any luck with it either.

"Reading image file C:\Users\MyPC\Downloads\fon-flash-windows\fonera-firmware.bin with 6905884 bytes, rounded to 0x006a0000
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet.
No packet."

It just keeps saying that.
The fon is connected directly to ethernet port. I have installed winPcap and I have windows 7 x64

Any ideas?

Read this.

I suspect its the new TCP/IP stack giving you issues in Windows 7

Vista and 7 have upgraded the TCP/IP stack, which does some weird
stuff to the ethernet port on your computer.

Any way you can try fon-flash on a windows XP machine?

Other option

Throw a switch between the computer and the Fonera.
