40Mhz on 2.4Ghz in populated area is mean.

In congested areas it's mean at best to use 40Mhz but I'd like to use 40Mhz on 5GHz (there are no other 5Ghz users in the area) and 20Mhz on 2.4Ghz but the option for both is linked together, can they be separated? 20Mhz is more than enough for my printer and a couple of mobile phones, everything else is 5Ghz capable.
