gargoyle_custom/1.15.x_test

Post by denisr »

Good afternoon validating the firmware under construction https://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_cust ... lds/mvebu/

What is the advantage of version 1.15, it does not appear to install the linksys_wrt1900ac, only the linksys_wrt1900acs router appears.

My question is the linksys_wrt1900acs version is compatible with the wrt1900ac ???

No those two won’t be compatible. No idea why the regular 1900ac didn’t build. I’ll have a look next time I build another mvebu test image

thank you very much this firmware is much more stable than dd wrt and openwrt, using the linksys_wrt1900ac, it is very stable and I have no wifi problems and I can also better manage the network and bandwidth of the connected devices, I currently use firmware 1.13.X ( Built 20220115-0541 ) :D

Good afternoon Latis, Eric has published a new experimental version 1.13, I ask you, I currently have version 1.13.X (Built 20220115-0541) installed on a wrtac1900 and it works very well for me, the version published by Eric is the same???? is it worth upgrading???

It should be effectively the same, but the plugins should work by default without any extra config.
Up to you if you want to change
