repeater config

Hello, I repeat a 5ghz wifi, because their equipment gives me issues and doesn't allow some ports for my home automation.
Can i repeat to both 5ghz and 2.4ghz? The gargoyle wifi eventually drops out and disapears when it loose connection i assume. this is problematic since gargoyle router is stowed away, I'd like to config wirelessly at all times.
