bwmon and port redirection

Hi,

I'm not sure if my problem can be explained as in the title of this topic, but maybe the port redirection is the cause of the following behavior:

I configured OpenVPN on the router with Gargoyle and everything worked fine but performance of the connection was the problem. About 10Mbit/s maximum. So I set up the OpenVPN server on the PC inside local network, then made port redirection to this service, and finally connected client to this server. Generally it works fine but my problem is that the traffic from this tunnel is not displayed in statistics. Is it treated as local? Does any redirected traffic is treated as local?

Regards,
Martin

Is the client inside or outside your network?
Port redirection, you mean you've forwarded port 1194 to the desktop?

Client is somewhere in the Internet.

Server is inside my local network, and yes, I forwarded port 8094 (where OpenVPN server listens) to this PC.

It must first pass through the WAN port, so no it can't be "local". It has to be in the statistics.

I agree that "it has to be" but it is not included :(

I'm using Gargoyle 1.13 with active "flow offloading". Maybe this is the reason?

Yes that is the reason.
Gargoyle features are not generally compatible with flow accelerators.
