WR1043ND cant associate to wireless lan with XP computers

Hi to all!
I lost the entire day trying to associate some of my computers.
I had no probs with win7 PCs but I couldn connect wint XPs.
I tried 1.3.13 and 1.3.9 versions.
Changing modes (N+B+G, B+G, ecc).
I succeded only deactivating the encryption (i was using WPA psk when I couldnt connect).
With factory firmware was better
dunno how to fix it...
(my router is v1.4)

There are actually quite a few posts about the WR1043ND router
and having issues - it's a recently supported one, so might take
a while to work out all of the kinks.
I have the WZR-HP-G300NH and it was supported from 1.3.5
I think, maybe a little earlier, but it only got really good and stable
on the 1.3.13 build.
Have some patience! It will get better!

It can be a driver compatibility problem, but before making any conclusion try a shorter password phrase less than 13 char. and see if it works.

I got better the situation.
I upgraded the netbook wireless drivers and now there is no problem.
No problems with win 7, ipod, ipad and iphone from the beginning.
My two notebooks with USR5410 pcmcia (based on acx111, if I remeber well) can't connect together. I'm using on both this driver (7.0.1.33 Digicom Palladio Wave 54CX 11g WLAN PC-Card) to have a updated one, supporting WPA2.
Hope it'll work well in the future and thanks for the good work.
I wrote down all the situation to be helpfull.

PS. what about the USB2 support? is the module still bugged in openwrt, or simply not installed?
