WZR-HP-G300NH Client Bridge stuck at 11Mbps

I have a G300NH that for some reason can't receive any more than 11Mbps in Client Bridge mode with WPA or WPA2-PSK. I can't figure out if there's some setting that make it stick to B speeds or what's doing on with it. The base station's an RT-N16 running Tomato with WPA/WPA2 mixed mode.

I have similar hardware, but usually connect them wired.
I'll do some testing myself and see if I can get the
WZR-HP-G300NH connected via client bridge to my Asus RT-N16
I'll report back on connectivity and speed results.
You are using WPA2-AES by default right?
Wireless-N is not possible unless you have WPA2-AES only encryption.

Ok, I've changed it back to the stock firmware (I was going to send it back but decided not to), then to OpenWrt 10.03.1RC4. I'm using it as an AP now, and it will transmit at 300Mbps, but still only receives at 11Mbps, even with no encryption. I'm guessing that it's either just bad Atheros drivers or maybe the thing's just defective.

The problem may be interference with neighboring networks. Have you tried switching channels?

Ok, I got this figured out on Thursday - turns out that when the Tomato routers are set to Green Field it receives at 11Mbps, set it to Mixed Mode and it works fine at 300Mbps like it should. No idea if there's a Green Field setting on Gargoyle/OpenWRT or not, so I just set everything to Mixed Mode.
...And then the G300NH completely died on me. Power light barely flashes every second or so, can't even try to tftp or do anything with it, so I just sent it back to Newegg and grabbed a Netgear WNR3500.
