I have a linksys ea7500 that I would like to install gargoyle on. Before I make that leap I would like to make sure that this is a good idea and that I am using the correct firmware. It does have a MT chip. According to shotwiki openwrt will work but I like the features of Gargoyle.

The v1 is based on ipq806x. V2 is based on mt7621.
Both of which Gargoyle supports already (in 1.13).

However, both devices are only supported in the master OpenWrt branch. Gargoyle is currently based on 19.07.
So while support in the future will be possible, it isn't today.
