Hi, I'm new member here. I have just ordered old Linksys router that come with DDWRT upgrade. I really don't want to use that so I'd go with Gargoyle 1.3.9. Now my question:

Can I perform Gargoyle 1.3.9 firmware installation through DDWRT user interface? Or Should I install Linksys's stock firmware first?

What If I have to install stock firmware, can I also do it through DDWRT?

I don't think anyone on this forum can provide you with support for such an old version.
That device is also a "cool toy" and a nice piece of history, but it is near useless today.

I have an old Linksys wrt54GC too that I'm wanting to toy around with.
