My service provider (TPG) issued me with a TP-Link Archer VR1600 modem router for recently installed NBN (Australian faster internet). Has anyone successfully installed gargoyle on this router? If so, what version of the firmware did you install? Did you encounter any issues?

Gargoyle does not support modem/router combination devices.
You would need a separate device downstream of your ISP modem to run Gargoyle.
