hey guys, first post here so go easy :D

I have successfully setup a wireless bridge with dhcp (gargoyle has the easiest setup for this that i have ever seen, i was ready to put a bullet in my head after 1 week with dd-wrt).

Now, my problem is that i get constant dropouts while being connected to the AP.It doesn't matter if the bridge(tl-wr741nd) is 30 Cm's far from the ap i will get dropouts, i desperately hope its me and not an incompatibility with hardware cuz i bloody love this firmware

and btw my ap is a Billion 7404vnpx

It's probably the wireless driver in the firmware, you can't really do anything about this.

really? that is a shame.

i noticed after i changed the wifi channel from 1 to 6 it was much more stable i can stream movies from my comp in my bedroom to my pvr in the lounge room fine. Now the bridge only drops when i try to use the internet. any one have any ideas? its not essential for me but i would like to get in working for the future.

thanks

not sure if your having similar issue as me? I have a bridged router with a san hanging off of it, that will do download management. and when I do a large download after a short period of time I lose wireless and have reboot the ap router but I can reach them hardwired.

not sure how to fix or what a fix might be yet? :?:

i am not having that problem, transferring doesn't break the connection from my bridge to my AP as i am streaming HD movies to my PVR flawlessly no stuttering/distortion at all. You might want to change wifi channels. my bridge was constantly loosing connection until i changed the channel from 1 to 6 since then the only problem has occurred when web surfing
