Main Router Losses Wireless Connection

I have a the following config
nas----repeater``````access point-----internet
---wired connection `````wireless connection
When I do a large download from the nas after 10-30 min everything lose wireless connection try do a reconnect and unable to associate. unplug AP for couple minutes, plug back in everything works for 10-30 min and lose wireless again. stop the download, power cycle the AP and all is good. When I lose wireless I can still hard wire in to either router.
this the only issue I have found everything else is grand
