What about Asus routers?

As I see there is no Gargoyle for Asus devices. Or am I blind? I would like to try out one but OpenWRT is not my taste to stick with it.

Any in particular?
I’ve done custom builds for them previously.

Usually the chance of wireless drivers being closed is higher with Asus.

RT-AC58U would be good. It's popular with LEDE.

So are there any chances for RT-AC58U?

It looks doable, but it is a bit of a shame to build an entirely new target for a single device.
It would be better if we got more out of it.

Anyway, I’ll try to get the rest of RC4 out then I’ll take a look

I guess. It's just an example. I don't se so much similar Asus routers but some may worth it. It would be good, thanks.

RT-AC51U, RT-AC68U, RT-AC86U, RT-AC87U are commonly sold here in Brazil, where RT-AC51U is the most commonly sold ASUS router by far. It would be really good to see some ASUS routers supported by Gargoyle, eventually.

Btw Lantis, I really appreciate the effort you're still putting on Gargoyle, supporting new routers, adding new features, and releasing/fixing these RC builds for the community in such a short period of time.

As soon as I find some time, I'll open some PR with some UI fixes/updates I've been doing in the meanwhile. ;)

No worries. I will definitely look into it.
I certainly also appreciate your efforts as well. :)

These two are likely:
Asus RT-AC51U, Mediatek, 580mhz, flash 16MB, RAM 64MB, 5 of 100mb ports.
and
Asus RT-N14U vC1, Mediatek 600MHz, flash 16MB, RAM 64MB 5 of 100mb ports.
