x86 installed and running extremely well.
(hardware - i5-3550, 8gb ram, 120gb ssd)

one thing, plugins won't update, so can't install additional packages, eg: adblock

Gargoyle Adblock or Openwrt Adblock?
For Gargoyle, did you add the extra repository? It isn't automatically included in this one because it is hosted on my site not the official.

Ramips now available.
Going back to see why ar71xx.routerstation and ramips.default didn't build properly.

Any special reason for missing 1043ND v1.0 through v3.0? I've seen only v4 :-(

Some devices with 8MB of flash also do not have enough space in the kernel partition to be built at the moment. If you want support for these, try a custom build and if you can make it work, let us know.
Openwrt preserves the factory size for the Kernel partition to enable you to flash back and forth between them without hassle. For this reason, some of them are now too small.
They could possibly be built if USB support was removed entirely.
BUT
I don't have one, nor have the time to test it. Sorry, i leave that one to the community.

if I add the repository on your website the plugins don't install/work. As soon as I add the V10 plugin link back they install/work ok.

EDIT:

Apologies - user error - it works fine when I copy the correct link and change the chipset for the correct one !

Add the following as an extra repository

Code: Select all

http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_1.11.x/x86/x64
Note, no trailing slash.

Updated with link and working perfectly !

Thanks very much for your consideration of the x86-64 platform. I have NEVER had a better network.

I have tried pfsense, ipfire, opnsense, sophos, simplewall.
I settled on pfsense, and Gargoyle just smoked it !
