Buffalo WZR hp G300nh Wifi dropouts

Hello,
I have a problem with this router. The wifi drops out 2 or 3 times in a day. I am using gargoyle 1.3.8. Is there anyone else who has the same problem. is there any solution? I am planning to upgrade to the latest firmware. is that recomended? Which version is the most stable software for this router. I am willing to downgrade to 1.2.? . I am still a student. AND frequently do online quizzes. it would be annoying if it dropsout when i am doing one of those quizzes. thanks in advance.

Does the dropouts occur for about 3 mins each time before it automatically recovers?

It occurs about 10-15 minutes if i am not mistaken.

Another problem!!!!
Why is the wireless not working when I upgrade to 1.3.10 or 1.3.11?????
Please explain. Is there any tweaking must be done????

Do NOT downgrade or try to downgrade to 1.2.x series
when you have a WZR-HP-G300NH.
WZR-HP-G300NH support started in the 1.3.x series of firmware.
You won't be happy, your router won't be happy, and
recovering via TFTP really sucks on this router for some reason.
If anything - reset to defaults, re-flash 1.3.10, and then once again
re-configure from scratch - don't load an old config file.
Once you do that - test your wireless out and see if it works.

Both garoyle version 1.3.10 and 1.3.10 is not working for wireless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please help!!!!!
i think it is the 5g band. there is no wireless channel at all for me to choose and it is not broadcasting when switched on.
i am currently trying 1.3.9 and will update later

I will check this when I get home - I am still running 1.3.11
even though it has reported bug issues.
But - EH? What's the 5G band? The WZR-HP-G300NH is 2.4GHZ
Wireless-N - NOT 5GHZ if thats what you were trying to test?

Hi doesitmatter,
I think that the 5g band is effecting the 2.4g wireless as I cannot select channels for both. I think that the 5g firmware is not suitable for this router.
Update on 1.3.9 - quota status disappears when updated. This issue already been raised up. I am now going to downgrade to 1.3.8. Hope it works

update!!!!
1.3.8 also have drop outs.
1.3.6 also have dropouts but at first half an hour after installing the software. only for 4 minutes. o think the duration will increase.
I think all versions have drop outs as i hav tried it all.
Eric, you really should look into this. Wireless is one of the main features in a router.
Or this router is the problem?
