DHCP - Default Gateway Configurable

Hello -
I would like to request that the default gateway be part of the DHCP configuration. This would allow the router to act as a DHCP server while not actually being used as the default gateway.
I like the fact that the hostname is recorded when a DHCP address is granted so I want to continue using my Netgear as a DHCP server (192.168.1.3) while my Cisco 870 router is acting as my default gateway (192.168.1.1).
The way that the software runs right now an IP is handed out and the client's default gateway is 192.168.1.3 rather than 192.168.1.1.
