Wireless bridge static IP

I have several TP-link routers:

TL-WR1043 on 1.91 Wireless bridge 192.168.0.101
TL-WR1043 on 1.8 Access point 192.168.0.110
TL-WDR-3600 on 1.9x Wireless bridge 192.168.0.103
TL-WDRT-4300 on 1.91 Wireless bridge 192.168.0.102

The network router is set to serve up ip addresses in the range 192.168.0.2 - 99.

The above gargoyle devices are set static ip addresses as noted in the Wireless bridge / access point connection page.

Apart from the unit running 1.8 all of the others do not appear on the network at the static ip addresses set in the config. They all appear in the routers dhcp server range. I can locate them by trial and error using an ip scanner, but it makes it hard to manage them.

The system router was an Asus N56u, and is now a new "Ultrahub" from our isp ( a nice device with all bell and whistles and latest specs) This static ip address issue has persisted with both system routers.

Any ideas?

Thanks....

I just noticed on the 1.9x router that the router status report shows "Bridge IP address 192.168.0.103" and "Relay IP address 192.168.0.154"

I cannot access it on 103, but have to access it on 154...

Please post the configuration of your bridges... something isn’t right.
Bridge IP and Relay IP should never be in the same subnet.

But yes, you should be accessing it at the Relay IP

I tried to upload a screenshot of the config page. The forum reports the board is over its allocation for attachments... How do I get around this?

Yep, right there In the help text:
“Bridge IP must be outside AP subnet”

Try reading this https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... e_repeater

Each of your bridges will need to be on a different subnet for bridge IP, and their Relay IP (and more importantly, clients) will end up on the AP subnet

On that illustration the clients connected via the bridge seem to be on the same subnet at the primary router?

I had referred to the bridge configuration screen shot that is linked off this websites home page. It contradicts the screen you have linked to. Why?

That is correct (Pseudobridge)

That screen shot was taken 2009/07/16 01:39

They are all out of date, I really should change them
