changing Transmit Power on Linksys wrt1900acs

Installed 1.9.2 on a Linksys wrt1900acs about a week ago.
V smooth, and no problems.

One small thing doesn't seem to work:
I want to reduce the wireless 5ghz (or 2.4ghz) power
(being considerate of my neighbours and my brain).

But no matter what I set the Transmit Power to (2,..,20,...30)
the actual power output level stays the same.
Changing the channel works, just not Transmit Power.

Is this a gui problem
(in which case is there a cli command I can use)
or is it a limitation of the available wireless drivers?

fwiw, changing the Transmit Power on a Netgear wndr3800 running 1.9.1 works fine.

Hi sorry but it's driver. To get the latest you will have to wate untill Gargoyle starts building with LEDE as a base.

Thanks, no problem at all.

A few small compromises like that are worth it to use Gargoyle - a beautiful piece of work.

Just wanted to bump this. On the wrt1900acs v2, gargoyle 1.12.0, seems like the default is still maximum transmit power. Can't seem to change it.

The answer hasn’t changed. The driver doesn’t allow it to be changed.
