How to determine architecture? (Archer C7 V2)

Good day, folks!
It might be a novice question, but how can I determine what architecture is my brand new Archer C7 V2 router built on?
I have trouble with the 5GHz band (the router won't broadcast its 802.11ac WLAN), and looking around to find a solution for the problem (so far the only reliable fix seems to be upgrading to OpenWRT/Gargoyle), but I can't seem to find what architecture my router's built on (no status info, no stickers on the router, nothing in the guides, nor in the data sheets), and don't want to brick it by uploading a firmware created for a different architecture.
Tried looking up the MAC address to find the brand, no luck though, it's defined as a TP-Link device.
Thanks in advance!
