As you upgrade the firmware via the web environment?
download the gargoyle_1.3.10-atheros-combined.squashfs.img, upload it through the web page and restart the computer continued to have the version 1.3.9

Are you saying you are having trouble upgrading?

Try and backup your config for 1.3.9 and then do a reset to defaults

Then try and run the upgrade again to 1.3.10

Yes, you should be able to do the combined squashfs file img
to do the upgrade from within the Gargoyle GUI.
