I am getting much slower speeds on my router using Gargoyle-Router firmware. I restored my router configuration to default. I used the default SSID with unique password and my speeds were faster than usual. I then added device Quotas and my speeds were slower. The device I used to test is not one of the devices listed in the Quotas. After entering the Quotas my router speed is pretty much cut in HALF! Without the Quotas I was getting 45 Mbps with them I get 23 MBps.

How can I get my speeds up to where they should be?

Bigger CPU if possible

After I posted I seen that it was a known issue. I guess for now I will have to deal with the slower speeds. I need to use the Quotas with my internet. I will have to look into other firmware to test on my router to see if they work better, until Gargoyle can find a fix for this issue.

There won't be a fix for the issue sorry.

No doubt in the long term routers will get faster.............
