Revert back to original firmware for TL-WR1043ND V:2.1

Hello,
I just bought a new router to install gargoyle on. Hardware version is TL-WR1043ND V:2.1
I flashed gargoyle right away but my WAN port does not respond to the cable (PPPOE) hence no internet connection. I'm not sure what to do as of now but at least I wanted to revert to original firmware to test the WAN port.
I've read on here you can revert using this file wr1043nv1_en_3_9_17-sysupgrade.zip.
But that shows reversion for V1 not V2 right?
I hope someone can help me with both issues.
