Just curious if the R7800 Netgear router will be supported. I noticed openwrt has support per a post https://www.myopenrouter.com/download/r ... t-firmware

Still new at this so was not sure as i did not see it on the hardware list.

According to that article the firmware is based on Attitude Adjustment which is a much older version of openwrt.
If someone brings the support forward to where we are then sure.

I just wanted to advocate for the R7800. At the moment it looks extremely interesting - fastest dual core CPU (1.7GHz) and under 200$.

There are ddwrt and OpernWRT/LEDE firmwares already, also with the newest builds Supported Current Rel: 17.01.4

And when gargoyle supports the new release 18.06 (which is being worked on) we can look at it.

Any progress about R7800?
It is recommended instead of WRT32x by dd-wrt
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtop ... ght=wrt32x
so i wonder if gargoyle can be used too soon maybe?
it is now on 19.07.3
