After a LOT of searching, even more trial and error, and swearing I managed to make a build from git for my router (F9k1115V2) and it seems to be running fine.
I messed up with the .config files but I think I started clean and I have a useable config file (sans some space saving removal I am used to from OpenWRT/LEDE) if anyone would want or need it.
If it blows up, I'll update here too.

Hello,
do you think I could ask for an image on the Turris Omnia router (
https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/turris/t ... rris_omnia )?
Please.

Hello, thank you in advance for a quick response.
1. problem: Does not contain zImage in "omnia-medkit-openwrt-mvebu-cortexa9-turris-omnia-initramfs.tar.gz"
2. problem: After miraculous application (gargoyle_1.11.x-mvebu-cortexa9-turris-omnia-sysupgrade.img.gz), the interface started, but it can not save the configuration.

Thank you. It's been a while since I've built openwrt images so it took me a little bit to get this setup. I got the environment setup and mage some packages but unforturnately they are not compatible with this RC. I did make sure to use the base_on_openwrt_remerge branch. Is it possible for you to provide the contents of the targets/ folder you used to build this RC? The current git is to new to build compatible packages for this RC.

If I had to guess, it would have been based on 1d0b52e1e718ec1ff150223d51306262edb33893.
But if you’ve built the newest, I’d just upgrade to that and use your own kmods.
I have made a few changes since this release whilst waiting for the final.

If I do this, can I still use the plugins directory you provided or will I need to use my own plugins?
Thanks for all of the help and your continued support of this fantastic firmware!

No you wouldn’t be able to in that case as the kernel version (and vermagic) have changed.
In that case yes building off the older version is a better idea if that is your intent.
Although sometimes the act of including an extra kmod can change the vermagic as well, so it will depend how it goes.
From Gargoyle you should be able to see which commit it was built from on the Overview page. If you tell me what this is I can confirm exactly which version it came from.
