@Lantis I like the whole experience with Gargoyle on GL-MT6000, one aspect I would like to change, on the wifi side, can't you add another tab for separate passwords for both wifi networks?
and the encryption tab, here I bring you an argument that not all 2.4ghz devices support wpa3 and then I prefer to have wpa3 encryption on 5Ghz
Thx!

Hi,
Firstly wow, Thank you Lantis for keeping this project going!
I just setup a Flint2/MT-6000 and flashed what I believe is your latest build. (used sysupgrade as that appeared to be proper according to OpenWRT guide)
From the status page:
Gargoyle Version:1.15.X (Built 20260322-1116 git@ebe19d5a)
Model:GL.iNet GL-MT6000
The main feature I am trying to get working and the sole reason for using Gargoyle is the Quotas, in particular the "All individual hosts without explicit quotas" option.
But it seems to be broken, after enabling it it never shows in the quota status page.
I checked the other options for per IP as well as entire network, and they immediately show up on the status page.
I found this thread from a couple years ago where it was broken on a version, then fixed.
(Gargoyle forum) /phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=18005
Is anyone aware of it having issues again?
Note: I have SSH'd in and disabled SSH/Dropbear.
And disabled the IPv6 options on DHCP settings.
Also disabled Share connected Wireless Client information to other Gargoyle routers on LAN.
I am happy to re-flash/reset and test without making any changes more than required to get to the point of enabling the Quota if there isn't a known issue with it, just didn't want to start tearing my hair out yet.
Thank you for any info or direction I should start.
(And if I should start a new thread or post back in the above mentioned one)

Thanks for reporting the issue, I did spot a bug which is likely the cause.

If you see in your log something like
Code: Select all
Error: syntax error, unexpected string
immediately followed by an nftables command that would be the smoking gun.
I'm away for Easter but will try to get a new build out by next weekend to correct this.

That sounds like your wan6 (or wan_6?) interface is going down.
Again should not be caused by any change in the bandwidth monitor fix. Let me know what you find.
Turns out this is an issue on ISP end. IPv6 over PPPoE runs well after requesting them to reset the line card.
