Spent ages trying to get it to work
failed = WPA2-PSK
pass = open

Just a question, did you try to use WPA2-PSK on original router I mean who uses (192.168.0.X) range or in boths to eliminate possible gaps?
Would it be a problem with Gargoyle firmware?

I've had problems with WPA2-PSK with standard AP on gargoyle as well................
WPA-PSK seams to work? It would be good if somebody else could confirm?

WPA-PSK didn't work with me too...
Is there any log on Gargoyle to see error description?

Try "open", to be honest I did not try WPA-PSK for the above test

you need to SSH into the router and run the command line
use putty
