Do you have specific examples?
If they are mostly low flash or low ram devices then yes they’ve dropped out of support. A lot of work was done to keep us at a small footprint but it’s a losing battle.
There are ~35 tplink branded devices under ath79

Wireguard
Looks like we might have some problems with wireguard
x86 server 1.15.X (Built 20241114-0239 git@b0c923bf)
Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X - Client 1.15.X (Built 20241113-1230 git@b0c923bf)
First problem - the client won't allow me to import the confing file
Second problem - if i manually key in the data from the config file the connection is made but all data is blocked

I was using openvpn but i suspect the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X is not powerfull enought and im only getting 10 Megabits per second up and down on a starlink capable of
FYI it appers that Disneyplus blocks starlink so im trying to VPN to my work to us its IP address. Works great but just a little slow.

I've been doing some testing and I don't belive this feature does anything, all traffic is diverted regardless of the setting

I'll try to respond to everything at once.
If you do further tests can you please spell out what the network map looks like so I can try to replicate?
I've tested all of this so I know they work, they just might not be covering every scenario.
When changing Clients Use Wireguard For or LAN Subnet Access, you must reissue configuration files to all clients. Unlike OpenVPN, the clients dictate their connection parameters rather than the server (generally).
For Clients Use Wireguard For All Traffic, this will put a route all option (0.0.0.0/0) into the config. If you don't reissue the config, no behaviour will change (it is doing what the config told it to do).
To answer your LAN Subnet Access question I need more info as to the architecture and how you tested it. This setting is controlled by the firewall so it should "just work".
For the unreadable config file, are you able to send the file to me? I can't replicate this. The only reason it will throw that error is if it can't find the words "[Interface]" and "[Peer]", which from your screenshot you clearly have.
