Well, my game traffic is only about 160~ kbps and normal traffic goes up to 2000~ while loading a video. Sadly in-game my ping is still spiking with the video loading.

Is it ok to leave normal BW at 99% and games at 1% ?

to what level though?

keep in mind with such a limited bandwidth available (2mbps down and 0.5 up) QoS doesn't have a lot of room to work with.
ACC reports that the minimum it will be able to hold your connection to is 109ms.

You will find that it spikes above this but does settle to it quickly.

It spikes up to about 200 and will stay there for about 2-3 seconds. If i take off a bit more speed from games min BW will it help? But even if normal doesnt hit full load i get the lag. For example a 720p vid will max it out, 480p will not, but still makes my ping spike.

can you show a screenshot of your:
in game ping
traffic through each class
ACC status

during a lag caused by a video.

The in-game spike happens every 10s~ or so.

My question at the moment,

Is is normal to still lag and spike while someone watching a video/downloading? Even if they are and are not maxing out the normal connection limit?

Up your gaming class to 20%.

We need data on your upload as well.

Just curious, is a router restart necessary after any changes? I save them though.

not necessary to restart router no.

can you try with a less vicious test? something that doesn't completely saturate the link? say a 240p or 480p video and see if the results vary?

I'm going to leave it here for the moment and let someone else chime in with some ideas, because i am out of them. i see nothing wrong with your settings.

all of the people on the other side of the world will be waking soon so you might get some replies by the morning.

cheers.

Video quality doesn't matter really.

Even if the video is not maxing the connection speed, i still lag. So while i do have a pretty low sync speed i believe its not the problem here.

Also im having trouble getting league of legends and WoW to show up in gaming traffic. I double checked the ports and their websites i am using the correct ones :/
