Installed OK on TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 but WPS button has now stopped working as a Wi-Fi toggle switch. Quite annoying as that is a very handy feature.

Hardware button configuration changed between 1.8.1 and 1.9.x.

See this thread from start to finish viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7203&hilit=wifi+button
it includes instructions for both

Unsure

It was when I was playing with openVPN. To me it feels like I'm clicking on another page before a process is finished. Hard to nail down a procedure.

Thanks, I'll have a look. Thanks for your work getting this new patched version out, too!

I am a little confused. I have two TL-WDR4300s, one running Gargoyle 1.8.1 and one running TP-LINK's firmware. TP-Link claims that routers running in the normal AP or router nodes are not vulnerable to KRACK. Is that so? How can it be? The reason I ask is that I prefer not to install firmware from the experimental branch (1.9) unless it's really necessary.

Log into Gargoyle web ui, should be there at status-overview-Gargoyle version.
