dear ispyisail

your two latest builds doesn't contain TL WR1043ND images,
it looks like the images for devices with more than 4MB of flashrom are not included anymore

by the way thank you for updating at every bugfix

I don't know why

Need to talk to Eric about it. I just do a straight build from the repo

Router: wr1043nd
Version: v1.8
Region: argentina
ISP: fibertel (Dynamic ip)
speed: 6 mbps download
768 kbps upload

In general, gargoyle 1.5.9 works very well in my router, except for some details
1.- If I turning off power and restart, sometimes not working wi-fi (led wlan off)
30% of the time does not start wi-fi
2. speed of wi-fi in Channel Width: 20mhz is only 130Mbps
In 40 Mhz is 300 Mbps

Where are you seeing the 300 Mbps being reported?

If you are seeing this reported in Windows - its false.

Google search reported wifi speeds in Windows

Most manufacturers - to make their devices look amazing - report
the speed max instead of the actual connection speed.

They need to make their devices look good so that you keep
buying their hardware!

Do actual speed tests - you will not see those ratings.

You're right, I tried through windows...
Thanks for the tip ...But what really worries me, not is the item 2, but the item 1.- If I turning off power and restart, sometimes not working wi-fi (led wlan off)"
30% of the time does not start wi-fi

I've the same router as yours and that is a known bug (related to OpenWRT I guess).

Tengo el mismo router, incluso la misma versión de hardware. El bug de que a veces no se enciende el WiFi me sucede en raras ocasiones pero aún así es molesto. Probá algunos de los últimos builds del usuario ispyisail (at your own risk, of course).

Uptime: 22 days, 10 hours, 1 minutes
Why you need to power off your router?
When it gets wifi working then leave it on, problem solved until new version out :p

The problem is (for example) if I go away, and the power goes out and back again without wi-fi

@ /etc/rc.local

wifi up
exit 0

Schedule reboots and power failure is no more a problem.
