Ah ok i see.
Also why does the cs go port need to have source ip/port and destination ip/port? I have WoW setup and it requires,
qos download, source port/destination ip
qos upload, source ip/destination port
Why are they different?

first this is how you determine what port to use source or destination
in upload side the source port is the port on your pc while the destination port is the port of the server this is reversed for download in download your pc port is the destination port and servers port is the source port now that outta the way in csgo there is a console command called cl_clientport i can set my local pc port from 27000-27015 range i ahve mine set to 27005 which is the default one using tihs i can have qos without needing to use server ports so if a server has a random port by chance qos will work however this will not work for all games E.G my Rule for PlanetSdie2 generally you want to be using destination port for upload and source port for download for most games .if the game is not detected reverse the source and destination ports then see if the game is detected

To add to what was said, you don't necessarily need both source and destination in each rule.
But if you want the rule to target a particular service GOING TO A PARTICULAR USER, then you would of course require both source and destination.

I play black ops 2 on my RGH xbox 360 over system link. my friend that lives 50km away from me is hosting and also up to 16 other people connect to him and we play together. but for some odd reason i am laging at times..
its really strange, because i have 25/5mbit connection and at evenings when i play most of the time i am the only one using the internet or if someone is using it i use the slow class for everyone else so that they have 10/0,5mbit.
this is my setup:

how is it even possible that i, who am the closest to him have lag? for example other players are 300+km away and they dont experience lag. also when i check ping 212.18.32.18 -t i get values between 10-20ms max 40ms.
is there a way to check if its my routers fault or if its a setting from my friends router or if someone could suggest how to change other settings that may help.

First how is the lag is it constant or lag spikes?
secondly if you use the internet alone when your playing then qos wont take affect because not enough bandwidth is bieng used for the qos to take effect and it wont matter scence your pings wont change at that time weather qos on or off
well bieng closest dosent account for you always having the best ping your ISP also takes part aswell if your using wireless then it can cause lag aswell if too much interference is caused by other wirelss devices and scence the Xbox 360 is wireless AC that interference will be there on the 2.4Ghz band i play on wireless aswell and time to time i get lag spikes some end instantly while some last for several seconds
you can check your problem but your friend has to check his own but if the other people arent lagging then it isnt his fault either way you can check by connecting directly to your modem if you have one bypassing the router, turn of qos and try.and try to use wired ethernet cable to your xbox see which one dosent make you lag anymore

thank you for your reply.
i always use wired connection for my xbox. i changed DNS servers to open DNS servers and when i played yesterday i did not experience any lag. will play for the next few days and see how it goes.
EDIT:
i just noticed that my qos upload clsses are gone and i dont know why.. when i try to add them again i get this:

are you using a router with 4mb flash by any chance i had that problem too it usually happened o me when i repeatedly changed settings and applied them i have found that 1.9.0 was more stable for me still isnt perfect tough but still alot more stable with somoe bugs so i am using the latest ispy build and the bugs have been fixed but if you dont anna you can reset your router set your settings at once and save if you want to make alot of changes i recommend after every 2 3 changes restart your router first as with me what happened was my rules disappeared after i clicked apply qos seemed to work but couldn't change the settings it was a pain in the ass to reset the router as through the gui was impossible for me it just restarted the router instead had to use the button on the back someone else mayby more of assistance then me tough

and yes i have wr841n and it has 4mb flash. was thinking of buying
https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/xiaomi/mini but was reading that it has wifi issues on open wrt so i guess it would also have issues on gargoyle

I reset the router and set up everything again and its working perfectly! I love gargoyle. Its really simple to configure. It seems like default providers dns were causing some issues. Since i changed them to open dns everything works as it should.
