Hi All,

I have successfully upgraded my new tp-link archer C7 stock to 1.8, but it seems that wifi led is off on 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Can someone please advise how to turn this led on.

Thanks
Coits

Looks like most people are reporting that the LEDs that indicate wifi functionality don't work (reasonably easily fixed).
and some people report that the channel list for 2.4 and 5GHz are backwards.

The device will work fine if you make up for any GUI shortcomings on the command line.

Yes but for now it must be enabled through the command line.

You can set AC from the user interface in this new build viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8247

*Installed Gargoyle 1.8 on a Archer C7 (latest I think), and 5 GHz seems to work fine.. Had an issue connecting to a sat modem through WAN, internet didn't want to work. So I'm using the C7 for another role.

I'm trying a WDR3600 in the original role as WAN keeper, need to get a good firmware for that...
