Just tried creating a new user and password. Same result.

I only have CIFS enabled.

Enable NFS for Windows 7. I've had much better results with it!

Windows 7 should just handle NFS on its own

According to this thread, NFS is not supported by some versions of W7, including the one I have (Home Premium) (you have to dig into the thread to find this).

Ahh my apologies. I've never used any versions except Ultimate so I assumed it was always built in
