I installed the latest 1.4.3 Gargoyle on my TL-WR1043ND router last night and experienced the WiFi disconnects that everyone else is talking about.

Upon bootup, wifi would remain active for about 5-10 minutes before dying, requiring a reboot of the router.

See that post and try the regular OpenWRT images.

Could possibly be a OpenWRT issue and needs to be reported
in their forums so that they can examine / fix any issues if necessary.

Here it has been totally stable sine I removed an AP, that Gargoyle did not like...
I have two devices + one TL-WR1043ND AP connected wirelessly 24/7 and it is working perfectly. Besides that I do also have a server and a network printer connected to the ethernet ports 24/7 and an external HDD connected to the router.
I have had no problem since the old PA was removed and I am monitoring the router and AP constantly: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=7&t=1736
Both my TL-WR1043ND are v1,8

Sorry to bump this, but i'm suffering the exact same thing on my WR1043N too.

I have v1.5.9 installed.

Constantly, every 24 hours, i lost WLAN signal and no wifi appears available.
I can connect via ethernet, but no wifi after that.

I try using Scheduled Reboot. Really don't mind if rebooting the router, as i do manually (unplug and plug again) solves the problem, but...
...Scheduled Reboot restart the router, but WLAN doesn't come back either, even if WLAN was working before the Scheduled Reboot proceed.

It's really annoying.

Any help it's appreciated (and if you need some more info, just ask).

Thanks.

Having the same issue with mine on 1.5.9. Sometimes I lose WIFI altogether, other times I get flaky WIFI speeds.

I have a spare linksys wireless router kicking around that I will use as a wireless AP/switch and disable the WIFI on the 1043ND. The 1043ND will continue to run gargoyle without wireless.

1 week later and no issues ^^ not really a good workaround if you don't have a 2nd router but it works for me and I can use gargoyle for QOS/Bandwidth Limiting and the 'stock' linksys as a fancy switch/WiFi AP.

What I was experiencing was this:

Got a TP-Link 1043ND with 1.5.8

Goes down roughly every 1/2 days, requires reboot to get wireless working again.

Really hope devs will address this issue as it appears to be widespread and ongoing (people on 1.4.x reported it).

This is due to OpenWRT issues. Until they fix the problem, Gargoyle is going to suffer the same problems.
