Read the section - Basic configuration - from Netgear WNDR3700 OpenWrt Wiki and grab the file regulatory.bin there from.

I cant find the folder /usr/lib/crda/ in my fonera2100 running 1.4.1
Can't find it either.
Do we have to create it?

I have to wonder if this is madwifi driver only?

They specifically mention the newer ath9xx driver set.

This might not work on the older Atheros devices.

http://wireless.kernel.org/en/developers/Regulatory

Read that page.

It specifically mentions newer kernels and newer drivers.

I don't think the Fon 2100/2200 series uses new drivers/kernels.

This CRDA stuff may not work on those older Atheros devices.

Well my battle continues...
I f you edit /etc/modules.d/50-madwifi and change to "ath_ahb countrycode=620 outdoor=1" (Portugal country code) and Reboot .

I will see the 14 channels available in the webfif of Gargoyle, but the wireless interface won't start.
