SSH router, root as login and your password.
Code: Select all
1. cd .. (to root)
2. wget http://www.gargoyle-router.com/gargoyle/projects/gargoyle/repository/revisions/9fd4ae0267f6e242a0e581f424f044a627c06c1b/raw/package/gargoyle/files/usr/lib/gargoyle/define_host_vars.sh
3. mv /define_host_vars.sh /usr/lib/gargoyle/ -f
Just had to revert to 1.3.14 and used this code to solve Blank Connected Hosts problem. It worked perfectly and it got the new 'fixed' one that shows the Bitrate of Wireless hosts correctly!

Could you elaborate on this post? Did you have a problem? What version did you have a problem with? What router was it?
I have loaded 1.4.0 on my WZR-HP-G300NH and the wireless data on the connected host screen looks correct to me.

Hi pbix,
I just saw your reply. Sorry 'bout that. I was reverting back to a previous version that did have a problem with that page - 1.3.14. I've actually had to do it on all my routers as you can see in my sig.
BTW, the QOS is working really well here in my campground. I'm very happy with the fact that the logic manages the client's bandwidth, not me!
Thanks again!

So why exactly did you revert to 1.3.14?
What version did you a have a problem with and what was the problem?

I have this problem with V1.9.0 where the wireless connected hosts is blank. I only see current DHCP leases and Hosts with active connections sections with updated and not connected wireless hosts.
Does any others face this issue?
Thanks!

If you are running 1.9.0, update to 1.9.X where this problem is fixed.

you may be better off reverting to 1.6.2 or 1.8.1.
Your router only has 4 mb of flash and so the latest versions of 1.9.x have not been built for it. This version is relatively ancient.

Thanks for the info. But I had a problem with 1.6.2 though, my LEDs did work. Hence I had to load 1.9.x, not sure about 1.8. Can u direct me to the link please.
Thanks
