IS TP-LINK WR340G SUPPORTED BY GARGOYLE

Post by freakazoid »

Hello i have a tp-link wr340g running openwrt kamikaze 8.09.2 i flashed openwrt to use this router as a client bridge but then learned that openwrt does not support client bridge on atheros chipset so i retired in using routed client masquerade method but i do not like this so much and would like to us a real bridge so i came across arp-nat so i decided to see whether gargoyle will be supported by my router

here are my specs
CPU is a atheros ar2317-ac1a
FLASH is a mx 25l1605 (2mb)
(it has 2mb flash is that what is the minimum amount for ur firmware i just want it to act as a repeater everything else can go like firewall etc for a custom build)

RAM is esmt m12l64164a- 8mb
SWITCH marvell 88e6060-rcj1

ps as i said earlier i have openwrt kamikaze 8.09.2 build installed with redboot bootloader

Gargoyle is based on OpenWRT.

Did you try an OpenWRT backfire release?

If OpenWRT does not work then its doubtful that Gargoyle would either.
