Help regarding the H3C TX1801 Plus device

Post by mohcnn »

My H3C TX1801 router runs on OpenWRT. I want to increase the dBm for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The maximum level for the first frequency is 28 dBm and for the second 26 dBm. I want to increase the dBm to 32 dBm or higher. My computer is running Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. According to my online research, this process requires building an OpenWRT system from scratch. I would appreciate it if anyone who knows how to increase the dBm could teach me how, as we in Yemen don't have any restrictions on dBm levels. Thank you very much.

First and foremost, everywhere has transmission power limits. Yemen does not allow 5GHz transmission, and is limited to 20dBm on 2.4GHz.

So you will not be given support to circumvent this, nor is this a generic OpenWrt forum.
