UPNP blocked and Qbittorrent (OPKG)

Post by Hav4k »

Hi.

First of all, thanks for this amazing firmware. I really enjoy UI, mostly of easy WireGuard and other configs.

So, i have two questions:

1- I need UPNP enabled, how can add as plugin?

2- Is possible install Qbittorrent through OPKG by Entware?

Router -> Xiaomi Mi 3G

Firmware -> 1.15.X (Built 20240702-0000 git@ab461167)

Regard and thanks again.

You can add the plugin repositories from where you downloaded 1.15 from and install the Gargoyle UPNP package.

No, entware is generally not compatible. If you want to try you can but you won’t get any support.
Transmission is available and a suitable alternative.

I cannot add this functions or i dont know...

Please, can you provide more details about how-to install/config uPNP and Transmission packages?

Thanks a lot.

Well where did you download the firmware from?

Here right?

There’s a plugin repositories section.
Your device is from mt7621.
Add both of the listed repositories to your router under System->Plugins.
Then Refresh the plugins and install UPnP.

For transmission you are on your own and need to do some reading.
I would start with
gpkg install transmission-daemon

Thanks you so much for help. I solved uPNP service but... my internet speed is under 20 MB/s for connection Up to 30 MB/ps. So, maybe firmware cannot offload Wan/Lan by hardware acceleration??

Regards.

No, hardware offload is not compatible with most of Gargoyles features.
